Watch this software - (Mike Galindo, San Diego, California) I purchased an "E-mail-Enhancing-Program from a website know as "Incredimail.com." The program has "Bugs!!!!!!" After a minimal amount of usage, the program froze on me. I had to remove it from my system. (case#103102) Wow, listen to this rude customer service at Sofistic - (Kevin, Manteca, California) I sent Sofistic 3 emails asking them to cancel the order over a 24 hour period. The order was placed around 5 pm 9/18/02, I even called their company only to have answering machines to take a message. The first email was sent within 15 minutes after I realized their shipping charges were too high and I get this kind of customer service response? They still sent the packages out this evening! Then I finally get the following sarcastic responses….this is what they sent to me from support@sofistic.com: "Order is canceled. If UPS attempts to deliver it, please refuse it. May we suggest you think longer before you press the "order" button next time." And the this: "At least you admit your mistake. We are sorry that because of your mistake we have to go thru the process to call UPS to stop the shipment, for being charged 3% when we run your card thru and another 3% to credit you in addition to UPS charges for the package. We are very, very sorry. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Please make your mistakes someplace else next time." (case#091002) global software which is sold at Office Depot and writes software for PDA's like Palm and Handspring puts out a questionable product called "50 Great Utilities" for hand helds. This software is not a good buy and once you load it you have a lot of inoperable programs that do not work. (case#111901) BEWARE OF ADAPTEC SOFTWARE!! Customer, Randy Gurhken, reports problems with backing up cd's, loss of cd's and no results period! He contacted tech support on three occasions and never got a response. MONEY DOWN THE DRAIN!! BEWARE OF ADAPTEC!! (case#112001)
